Event Summary:

The first breakfast of 2019 for FCS NYC will focus on personalization, a topic commanding the interest and concerns of financial marketers eager to narrowcast their messages while managing privacy issues.

"Personalize or Perish" is brought to us by Idio, whose Chief Strategy Officer Kevin Li will serve as moderator for a panel discussion which will feature senior marketers finding success and ongoing challenges as they seek to incorporate personalization in their communications.

Facing increased competition and rising customer expectations, financial services leaders are investing in their digital customer experience. The standard has been set by consumer brands like Netflix and Amazon, whose responsive experiences perceive customer intent and deliver relevance in every interaction.

The discussion will open with a presentation by Forrester Research.

Join us as we kick-off a yearlong exploration of compelling topics in our monthly New York breakfast series.

Event Summary:

FCS Charlotte will stage its first event of 2019 on March 19th with a luncheon on "Marketing Personalization."

The event will open with a presentation by Jeff Turner, the head of RED Team at the Washington Post.  Jeff's team builds personalization tools and testing for the Post and develops white label offerings for the marketplace. He will then moderate a panel of clientside executives, who will address branding, digital, and compliance issues surrounding personalization.

The program will begin promptly at 11:45am.

At this event, we're introducing a new networking component: after the luncheon panel, we'll break for a "dessert mixer," (12:45pm) allowing all our guests to mingle with the speakers and each other over sweets and coffee.

“Is Your Financial Brand Relatable?”

New York

Event Summary:

The FCS is excited to partner with brand consultancy Brandcap to address the importance of Brand Relatabilty over a breakfast presentation and panel discussion.

Brandcap recently completed a study among 1,000 consumers, age 18-36, analyzing how well they connect to insurgent vs. incumbent financial services brands. Relatability correlates directly to consideration and trust, and BrandCap’s study reveals that the mindset of Millennials and Gen Z is at odds with traditional financial brands and their (perceived!) business models.

We’ll open this breakfast event with a presentation of research findings by Mike Weber, Partner at Brandcap, followed by a panel of senior marketers moderated by Brandcap's U.S. Chairman David Martin.

Join us for a new conversation about brands, consumers and insights into how financial services brands can grow with highly coveted audiences.
