Event Summary:

FCS Charlotte is excited to present a unique luncheon event, featuring a one-on-one interview with veteran financial marketer Renee Brown, who joined OptumCare (division of UnitedHealthcare) in December 2018 as its Senior Vice President of Marketing.

In addition to her storied career at TIAA, Wells Fargo and Wachovia, Renee has a historic connection to the FCS: she served as a panelist at both our inaugural San Francisco breakfast and our inaugural Charlotte lunch.

In a very informal fireside chat format with Renee, we expect to cover an array of topics, ranging from leadership and marketing to diversity and motherhood.

Join us for this compelling conversation with a social media pioneer who has blazed an impressive career as an openly gay woman at three Fortune 100 companies.

Event Summary:

FCS West concludes its fall breakfast series in San Francisco entitled “Transformative Marketing 2020.” The two monthly events tackled different aspects of the rapidly changing marketing landscape, looking at Content Marketing Trend, and Generational Trends impacting financial marketing specifically. Exploring these diverse topics as we look to the coming year, we will hear from marketing, advertising, and media professionals in the finance vertical as well as other sectors speaking to creative and successful executions pushing the boundaries of current marketing capabilities.

The topic for the November breakfast in the series is "Marketing During Generational Shifts."

  • Our guest speaker is Kiki Burton, Head of Growth Marketing at Credit Karma. Having spoken at Programmatic, Journey and other recent industry events, Kiki has a depth of experience in financial marketing and technology.
  • In a fireside chat with Mike Henry, Financial Services Industry Director at Google, Kiki will share Credit Karma's perspective and journey on this increasingly important topic.
  • Google is our exclusive programming partner for this breakfast.

Millennials used to be known simply as those pesky digital natives poking at the conventions of the generations that came before them. But now that those born roughly between 1980 and 2000 are the biggest generation in the workforce, with hefty potential retirement savings dollars in tow, how can financial industry marketers looking to capture their attention adapt their strategies to better identify, engage and help this next generation of investors?

Kiki and Mike will talk about marketing during generational shifts and the strategic role of automation, machine learning and smart data in order to drive results and reach these important consumers.

Join us for an insightful conversation about the opportunities that abound for marketers.

Event Summary:

FCS Chicago is delighted to partner with CFA Institute for our last event of 2019, when we host a luncheon focused on an important topic for marketers: "What High-Net-Worth Investors Want from Their FAs."

High-net-worth individuals have complex wealth management needs, and they're not afraid to consider a new wealth manager when their needs are not being met. CFA Institute research uncovered some unexpected findings that are relevant for financial advisers and those who market their services.

Join us for a presentation by Bob Dannhauser, head of Global Private Wealth Management at CFA Institute, who will then moderate a panel comprising marketing executives as well as a financial adviser to high-net-worth individuals.  The discussion will focus on how and where to reach highly coveted affluent audiences as they seek out financial advice and planning.

Join us for this unique event for the Chicago audience.

Sponsorships for this event (and for 2020) are available.  Please contact FCS CEO Kevin Windorf or FCS Chicago President Rachel O'Block.
