Event Summary:

THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT.

The FCS makes a triumphant return to Philadelphia with a breakfast event on "Content Marketing," hosted by our sponsor, The Inquirer.

For the past few years, marketers have responded to the demand for Content Creation as a tool to increase engagement with their audiences. But ever since digital solutions opened the floodgates, consumers of content, both retail and institutional, have been drowning. How should marketers refine their output while still optimizing their tools and ensuring their message is getting seen, heard, understood and remembered?  How are marketers balancing social media content with content on their websites?  How are other channels being activated to deliver content-rich messaging?

Join us for an FCS Philly breakfast event featuring a panel discussion with senior marketers and comms professionals who will share how effectively managing their content strategy has impacted business results for their brand.

Sponsorships are available for this event.  Contact FCS CEO Kevin Windorf.

The breakfast will be held in Suite 300 at the Inquirer's offices at 801 Market Street.  Please enter the building off of 8th Street.

“Is Your Financial Brand Relatable?”

Event Summary:

The FCS is excited to partner with brand consultancy BrandCap to address the importance of Brand Relatabilty over a breakfast presentation and panel discussion.

BrandCap recently completed a study among 1,000 consumers, age 18-36, analyzing how well they connect to insurgent vs. incumbent financial services brands. Relatability correlates directly to consideration and trust, and BrandCap’s study reveals that the mindset of Millennials and Gen Z is at odds with traditional financial brands and their (perceived!) business models.

We’ll open this breakfast event with a presentation of the research findings by Ryan Arshad, U.S. Managing Director for BrandCap, followed by a panel of senior marketers moderated by BrandCap's U.S. Chairman David Martin.

Join us for a new conversation about brands, consumers and insights into how financial services brands can grow with highly coveted audiences.

Event Summary:

THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT.

The first breakfast of 2019 for FCS NYC will focus on personalization, a topic commanding the interest and concerns of financial marketers eager to narrowcast their messages while managing privacy issues.

"Personalize or Perish" is brought to us by Idio, whose Chief Strategy Officer Kevin Li will serve as moderator for a panel discussion which will feature senior marketers finding success and ongoing challenges as they seek to incorporate personalization in their communications.

Facing increased competition and rising customer expectations, financial services leaders are investing in their digital customer experience. The standard has been set by consumer brands like Netflix and Amazon, whose responsive experiences perceive customer intent and deliver relevance in every interaction.

The discussion will open with a presentation by Forrester Research.

Join us as we kick-off a yearlong exploration of compelling topics in our monthly New York breakfast series.

FCS YMC TALKS: "The Data Debate"

Event Summary:

FCS YMC kicks off 2019 with a first-time YMC Talks event at The New York Times, and the focus will be "The Data Debate."

2018 was a year of data hacks, breaches and scandals, but more importantly, it was the year consumers became aware that their data is collected, and perhaps distributed, more often than they might think.

According to FastCompany, there were an estimated 3,676 data breaches in the first nine months of 2018 alone, putting it on track to have the second-most number of reported breaches in a single year.

So what does this mean for marketers?

As marketers, we rely on data. The recent influx of digital channels and shifting consumer behavior have made data-driven marketing a necessity. In a year where data privacy is more of a concern than ever before, and consumers inevitably become more reluctant to give up their data, how can financial marketers collect, analyze and implement data effectively?

Join us for a fresh conversation about the role of data.
