FCS MARDI GRAS Charity Trivia Night
New Yorkpast EventEvent Summary:
The FCS is excited to launch our first-ever Charity Trivia Night and what better time to do it than on Mardi Gras! Staging it virtually means we can bring the entire FCS community together from across the country. (You don't need to be in New Orleans to wear beads, enjoy your favorite beverage, and have some fun!)
Join us on Fat Tuesday for a rollicking Happy Hour as we toast the good life and help raise money for three of our favorite children's charities:
- Hope & Heroes Columbia University Medical Center
- Make-A-Wish
- Downey Side Adoption Agency
In the absence of our annual Race for Kids ski weekend in Vermont this year, we're eager to support the families and staff at these three wonderful charities. So 100% of your ticket price will go directly into our donation to each charity. (If you'd like to supplement your donation, please email FCS Admin Coordinator Vanessa Sandri to discuss payment options.)
TRIVIA! FOR PRIZES!
Our live trivia contest will be run by the team from Broadly Entertaining. All participants will be teamed up and winners on each team will win a $50 Amazon gift card. We'll take the competition seriously -- but everything else is all about fun.
So spread the word and get all your friends to participate. Let's raise a lot of money as we raise our glasses. It's Mardi Gras. There's much to celebrate.
Sponsorships are available for $500 and include 2 tickets. Please email FCS CEO Kevin Windorf for details.
Cheers to Paul Leibowitz and the team at Leibowitz Branding & Design for the fun graphics.
NOTE: ON THE AFTERNOON OF FEBRUARY 16, YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL WITH A LINK AND PERSONAL PASSCODE TO THE EVENT.

VIDEO REPLAY
The FCS is proud to partner with The New York Times to stage a new 'purpose-themed' virtual event called "How Profitable Companies Can Prioritize People & The Planet." A panel of senior financial marketers will discuss the challenge of crafting and promoting a balanced brand message that aligns marketing strategies with business strategies.
We have seen a growing recognition in the private sector that in order for companies to endure and build long-term value for shareholders, they must also do well by society. This outlook is especially prevalent in financial services, where there is increasing respect for the notion that financial institutions are in a powerful position in terms of their ability to marry sustainable and profitable businesses to commitments that will better social causes and initiatives. Please join us for this panel discussion that will bring financial marketers together to discuss how they've successfully implemented this model for growth and performance, how they've incorporated it into their marketing and communications strategies, and why it's so important for the longevity of their respective organizations.
David Gelles, columnist of The Corner Office for The New York Times will moderate our panel, which will include:
- Audrey Choi, Chief Marketing Officer, Morgan Stanley
- Leanne Fremar, Chief Brand Officer, JPMorgan Chase
- Stephen Tisdalle, Chief Marketing Officer, State Street Global Advisors
Join us for another quality conversation on a topic that will remain relevant deep into the new year, as marketers continue to look engage their audiences with the authenticity of their brand purpose.

In the last event in the series, Navigating Your Career During Times of Uncertainty, our panel of seasoned financial professionals and career coaches will share lessons, strategies and advice for navigating your career path during the COVID-19 crisis and beyond, and how traditional roles and work policies will evolve as companies adjust to a new normal.
Moderated by Rashaad Denzel, Project Manager, Content Partnerships, Forbes, the panel will include:
- Jim Frawley, CEO and Founder, Bellwether
- Tom Jago, Managing Director, The Ward Group
