The FCS Young Members Circle (YMC) continues our three-part virtual event series called "Your Future At Work." In collaboration with exclusive programming partner Forbes, YMC is presenting panel discussions on key topics top of mind for young professionals today: Diversity, the Post-Pandemic Workplace, and Careers.
2020 has undoubtedly caused unprecedented changes to consumer behavior, work culture and the marketing landscape. As marketers, we are now presented with new and nuanced challenges, and find ourselves asking, “How will the ways in which we work, where we work, and how we work continue to manifest and evolve”?
The second event in the series, Financial Marketing’s Future in a Post-Pandemic World, will explore the shifts marketers have made to reach consumers during a global crisis. The conversation will address how to decipher between the long-term marketing strategies that are here to stay and the short-term tactics that will be left behind.

Berta's first book exposes today’s barriers for women, diverse talent, and high performers while showing boards, executives, and C-suite leaders the path to industry leadership.
Berta is the Chief Marketing and Human Resources Officer for Private Advisor Group, a national financial advisory firm headquartered in Morristown, NJ, with more than $21 billion under management. In 2016, Berta was the inaugural recipient of the FCS Jamie E. DePeau Leadership Award.
During our one-on-one conversation with Berta on November 18th, Berta will talk about her new book, the insights she's gleaned over a career that's included Principal, Vanguard and FS Investments, and the many successes of working in and leading successful teams.

The FCS is proud to partner with The New York Times to stage our annual event on "Women and Wealth." This is our first virtual event on the topic and first opportunity to reach a truly national audience for this timely conversation.
Women are increasingly taking the lead with regard to investment decisions and are coming into more wealth than ever before. According to McKinsey, “By 2030, American women are expected to control much of the $30 trillion in financial assets that baby boomers possess, a wealth transfer of such magnitude it approaches the GDP of the United States.”
This shift in women’s financial power poses compelling questions and opportunities for financial institutions. How do marketing and communications strategies need to change to better connect and build trust with female investors? What is new research telling us about how women’s wealth priorities may be different from prior generations?
In this FCS panel discussion, we’ll explore what initiatives have worked and resonated most with this audience, what past and current outreach looks like, and what future plans are to communicate to this ever-more important segment of clients.
