Event Summary:

THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT.  FCS Chicago will stage a CMO Spotlight luncheon with Marty Willis, Chief Marketing Officer of Nuveen, the asset management unit of TIAA, on Tuesday, November 13.

TIAA is one of the oldest names in the retirement industry, founded by industrialist Andrew Carnegie in 1918.  In January 2017, TIAA renamed its asset management division Nuveen, taking the brand of a company TIAA purchased in 2014.

As a private asset manager with more than 100 years of service to clients, Nuveen brings together two great legacies to help investors around the world succeed. TIAA, pioneered retirement plans for teachers and other non-profit institutions, and Nuveen helped build America’s infrastructure through municipal finance.

TIAA created a unique structure that offers the scale of a large firm and the specialist expertise of investment affiliates with independent processes and cultures. Nuveen's standout capabilities include generating income for retirement, real assets, alternatives and responsible investing.

Marty Willis will discuss Nuveen's branding strategy and the marketing strategy for its products and services.

Event Summary:

The FCS returns to The New York Times on November 7th for a moderated panel discussion on "Consumer Centricity."  All previous breakfast events held at the Times have sold-out, and this event is expected to as well.

The topic will focus on how financial services companies are navigating the challenges of consumer centricity. In the past, serious-minded categories like insurance or banks were exempt from providing seamless and enhanced consumer experiences. Today, that's all changed and consumers expect an Amazon-like experience from their bank and other regulated providers. The question becomes, how are financial institutions handling this new level of expectation from their customers, while balancing the imperatives of regulation and data privacy.  And how do marketers inject creativity, humanity, and authenticity in a digitally driven consumer experience?

Join us for another compelling discussion with a panel of top-notch marketers.

Seating is strictly limited to 60, and this event will sell-out.  Please reserve your ticket right away.
