Despite the February chill, FCS New York gives a warm welcome to our next guest speaker in our CMO luncheon series: the Chief Marketing Officer of AXA Equitable, Kathryn Ferrero. Join us on February 27th as Kathryn makes her debut on the FCS stage.

Chief Marketing Officer
Kathryn Ferrero is the Chief Marketing Officer of AXA Equitable, a financial services and insurance firm that manufactures and distributes life insurance, annuities, mutual funds and employee benefit products and wealth management services. Her role encompasses steering and championing AXA’s brand to clients, the marketplace and employees. She is responsible for partnering with the commercial business lines to drive revenue through strategic marketing programs. Leveraging data analytics and insights, she fosters digital innovation and builds marketing campaigns that educate and support prospects and existing AXA clients. In addition, she is responsible for continuous improvements to the advisor and client experience. Immediately prior to her position as Chief Marketing Officer, Mrs. Ferrero was Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director for AXA’s Retirement Plan Services business, where she was responsible for driving revenue growth and retention of ~$25bn of assets across the 401(k), education and governmental markets. As COO, Mrs. Ferrero utilized data and analytics to create new and innovative marketing and digital programs to both attract new customers and retain existing customers. Mrs. Ferrero and her team launched an award-winning marketing program for educators (“403(b) Learning Lab”) to help over 2 million K-12 teachers across the United States start saving for retirement. She also led Direct to Consumer distribution across all commercial business lines for AXA in the U.S. Over her 13 years at AXA, she has held a variety of managerial positions in Product, Corporate Strategy, Operations, and Sales. She also served as Head of Strategy and Chief of Staff to the president of the retirement business. Mrs. Ferrero supports the growth of her colleagues by being an executive sponsor of AXA FIT, the company’s health and wellness employee group, and serves as an active member of AXA’s Chapter of the Women’s Bond Club of New York and Women’s Outreach at Work Employee Resource Group. Mrs. Ferrero graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a concentration in Pre-medicine, and holds FINRA Series 6, 63 and 26 licenses
