Chris Portella is a media agency veteran with over 18 years of experience, including 9+ at UM San Francisco. In his current role, Chris is the EVP, Client Business Partner and Co-Managing Director of UM San Francisco. In addition to co-running the office, Chris oversees a portfolio of clients across a range of verticals including leading the Charles Schwab account. Chris also serves as a digital media discipline lead for UM San Francisco, driving innovation and strategic best practices across all clients. Originally born and raised in New York City, Chris attended Vassar College where he studied Psychology.

Andy brings 20+ years of digital marketing experience, helping progressive brands like Airbnb, Samsung, and Target drive growth through digital innovation. Prior to joining Edelman Digital, Andy was global business lead for Google at R/GA. In that role, he helped Google drive mission critical initiatives such as: Google’s first ever articulation of its policy on user data, security, and privacy; launching Google’s first ever hardware portfolio, including the Pixel 1; and brand positioning, design and launch for new product introductions like Allo and Duo. Andy also stood up a series of agency embedded teams numbering over 60 people in Mt View, San Francisco and Tokyo to complement Google’s in house creative and tech teams. Through that experience, he straddled operations, culture and work between agency side and client.
Brian Quinn is the President of OpenSlate, a social video analytics company. The company’s global data platform offers insight into the nature and quality of content on YouTube and is used by every major advertising holding company. OpenSlate is an inaugural member of the YouTube Measurement Program - which certifies that OpenSlate uses the highest quality methodology, accuracy in calculations, and clarity in metric definitions. Prior to joining OpenSlate in 2017, Quinn was Chief Revenue & Innovation Officer at Triad Retail Media and Vice President/General Manager, Global Digital Sales for The Wall Street Journal. He held previous sales management positions at CBS MarketWatch, RealMedia and Advertising Age. Quinn was the recipient of Ad-Tech’s Industry Achievement Award in 2014. He was also the Founder and first President of 212, New York’s Interactive Ad Club.
