Webinar: "Navigating Your Career During Times of Uncertainty"
The FCS Young Members Circle (YMC) concludes our three-part virtual event series called "Your Future At Work." In collaboration with exclusive programming partner Forbes, YMC has been presenting panel discussions on key topics top of mind for young professionals today: Diversity, the Post-Pandemic Workplace, and Careers.
2020 has undoubtedly caused unprecedented changes to consumer behavior, work culture and the marketing landscape. As marketers, we are now presented with new and nuanced challenges, and find ourselves asking, “How will the ways in which we work, where we work, and how we work continue to manifest and evolve?”
In the last event in the series, Navigating Your Career During Times of Uncertainty, our panel of seasoned financial professionals and career coaches will share lessons, strategies and advice for navigating your career path during the COVID-19 crisis and beyond, and how traditional roles and work policies will evolve as companies adjust to a new normal.
Moderated by Rashaad Denzel, Project Manager, Content Partnerships, Forbes, the panel will include:
- Jim Frawley, CEO and Founder, Bellwether
- Tom Jago, Managing Director, The Ward Group
- Winnie Sun, Managing Director and Founding Partner, Sun Group Wealth Partners
Kyle Vinansky, Group VP, East & Midwest Sales, Forbes, will offer opening remarks.
While the content for this series has been designed with our young professional audience in mind, all FCS members and our industry colleagues are welcome to register for these free events.
CEO and Founder
Jim Frawley is a Columbia University certified Executive Coach and the Founder of Bellwether, a company dedicated to helping organizations and people build resiliency, adapt to change and thrive in rapidly shifting contexts. Over his twenty-year career, he has internationally created and implemented corporate training programs, complex marketing and PR plans, business strategy and administrative plans and organizational re-designs. He has worked with clients in eight countries and thirty-nine states to date. A few years ago, Jim came to the realization that he had a unique capability in getting people to do things they didn’t think they could. After some experimentation on using this capability for good or evil, he decided on the good. (But not before convincing an Irish cousin to swim in the Hudson River.) He is the host of the Bellwether Hub podcast and author of the upcoming book Adapting in Motion: Finding Your Place in the New Economy, to be released in January, 2021. Jim is a big-time reader, a small-time triathlete and a full-time husband and father.
Following a successful career as a marketing and communications leader at Prudential, Tom has led The Ward Group’s New York office focusing on recruiting leaders in financial services and other categories. He recently became a Certified Executive Coach, and is leading the development of a coaching practice for The Ward Group. He has participated in formal and informal mentoring programs for many years and speaks to classes and student groups at schools including: Boston College, Sarah Lawrence, University of South Florida, Boston University and his alma mater, Stonehill College. In addition to his role as Vice Chair of the FCS, he has served as Executive Committee liaison to the FCS Young Members Circle (YMC).
