The FCS Young Members Circle (YMC) kicks off 2022 with a free virtual event featuring a panel discussion on "The New Era of Social Media" on Tuesday, February 1, beginning at 12:00pm ET.
As the COVID-19 pandemic forced the world into our homes, we found ourselves in front of digital screens perhaps more than ever. To keep ourselves and our social networks entertained, everyone learned to become a content creator from their home office (also known as their bedroom, kitchen, living room, or basement). This shift had a ripple effect across industries and reached the financial services world in new and unexpected ways.
We will curate a panel of experts to hear firsthand how the social media landscape has evolved due to the pandemic, how financial brands are using new content sharing techniques to connect to their target, and a look ahead at trends for 2022 and beyond.
Join us as we hear from:
- Cordy Elkins, Global Head of Social Media, State Street Global Advisors
- Lindsay Callahan, Social Media Lead, MFS Investment Management
- additional panelist to be announced
The panel will be moderated by Vivian Tu, Senior Account Executive, Client Partnerships at BuzzFeed -- and the powerhouse behind "Your Rich BFF" on TikTok.
This free event is open to all FCS and YMC members as well as our industry colleagues. Registration is required.
Special thanks to BuzzFeed for their support of this event as our presenting sponsor.
