Ronald McDonald House Welcomes FCS YMC Volunteers

On January 15, the FCS Young Members Circle held our second annual volunteer night at the Ronald McDonald House NYC (RMHC), setting-up and serving dinner to the dozens of families who currently reside in the house in the Upper East Side.  RMHC helps families with a sick child by providing housing for the entire family while the child is hospitalized nearby. By staying at a Ronald McDonald House, parents can better communicate with their child’s medical team and keep up with complicated treatment plans when needed. They can also focus on the health of their child, rather than grocery shopping, cleaning or cooking meals.

Did you know?

  • RMHC has 375 houses in more than 64 countries and regions around the world.
  • More than $300 million has been collected through RMHC Donation Boxes.
  • Yearly, RMHC serves millions of children and families.
  • Since 1974, RMHC has had over 535,000 volunteers.
