Job Description

The Director of Paid Media will lead a team responsible for creating and deploying media plans to promote and build our brand across media properties and social channels. Oversee our media agency partners and manage our North American media budget. Track and analyze the results of media strategy, plans, and actions, and optimize our efforts. Collaborate with the creative team, producers and media agencies and properties, as well as Marketing partners and other internal stakeholders, to ensure we are using media to tell a consistent, distinct and compelling story to our various audiences.


  • Own media strategy, planning, execution, optimization and reporting for our North American business as part of the Brand, Creative & Content Team
  • Develop and support strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, creative teams and agency partners
  • Manage social media programs including brand presence, paid social and social selling initiatives
  • Connect with media and creative leaders across the global team to ensure consistent and effective use of media for our worldwide business 
  • Accountable for all aspects of media agency/partner relationships, including budgets, contracts, workflows, and ongoing collaboration. 
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging media trends, opportunities, and innovations and advocate for continuous improvement and evolution in our own efforts 
  • Manage relationships with Twitter, LinkedIn, Asset TV and other key media channels 
  • Work closely with internal partners to enable leveraging media data for effective marketing and distribution 
  • Produce and share reports on social and paid media effectiveness, to enable continuous optimization and innovation 
  • Maintain good working relationships with Compliance and Legal and stay abreast of channel specific policies.

Required Qualifications

  • 7-10 years relevant experience 
  • History of success building and managing effective social and paid media programs for a global brand; experience in the financial sector or other regulated industry preferred 
  • Extensive knowledge of traditional social media marketing techniques and trends 
  • Excellent communications and management skills 
  • Ability to identify, nurture, and advocate for top-notch ideas and talent 
  • Ability to sell ideas to senior stakeholders, and solicit and respond to their input
