Intermarket Communications: Senior Account Executive

Intermarket Communications, a dynamic corporate and financial public relations agency, is seeking an Account Executive/Senior Account Executive to work in the firm’s New York office.

The structure of Intermarket includes hands-on interaction with clients on PR campaigns and ongoing media relations programs. This position would suit someone with between 3-5 years of experience working in PR or journalism.

Responsibilities will vary with your level of experience but primarily you will work with a number of different account teams on specific clients. Day-to-day activities may vary from creating PR plans and proposals, brainstorming, writing and executing pitches to managing press lists and tracking press clippings.

Candidates are required to have strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organization and attention to detail, good time management skills, and an understanding of public relations concepts. The ability to work well with others in a team and an independent environment is imperative. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, efficient and self-regulating, as well as accountable for their actions.

Media contacts are helpful and knowledge/interest in the financial services industry is a must.
