Update on FCS Events for 2020

The Financial Communications Society has decided to postpone all scheduled events from March through the middle of May. We will reassess our calendar of events by the end of April.

FCS PORTFOLIO AWARDS 2020

The Portfolio Gala has been rescheduled from May 7 to Wednesday, June 17, and will remain at the Ziegfeld Ballroom.

Judging is currently underway, and we are still scheduled to contact finalists beginning the week of March 23.

Table reservations and ticket sales are expected to open online on April 1.

Sponsorship opportunities remain in place and can be reserved at any time by contacting Kevin Windorf (first come, first served).

UPCOMING EVENTS

You can download here a list of events awaiting a new date (pending availability of speakers and venues) along with events booked from June 9 through year-end. This document is updated regularly and can be found on the homepage of thefcs.org under the FCS EVENT CALENDER 2020 link.

We are also exploring the launch of virtual events that would be made available, on demand, to members only. Now is a good time to ensure your membership is current. Questions about your membership status can be emailed to Vanessa Sandri.

TICKET REFUNDS

We respectfully ask that you not request a refund for any event tickets until the rescheduled date is announced. If the new date is not convenient for you, we will gladly process a refund at that time. Thank you for your cooperation.

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP

Although membership is only $100 a year ($50 for YMC), we offer group discounts and/or free tickets to select for companies with 5 or more members. For more information, contact Kevin Windorf.

MENTORING

Our very successful mentoring program is in full swing and we encourage all participants to continue to meet virtually.

PHILANTHROPIC MISSION

During this unprecedented time of uncertainty, our mission of Community, Education and Philanthropy remains resolute. While we will strive to keep our membership connected and informed virtually, we are concerned about the seven children’s charities we currently support. We all know that such organizations are especially challenged during economic downturns. Until our full slate of live events is reinstated, the best way you can support the FCS and our mission is through your membership dues … and encouraging your colleagues to join as well.
