Philanthropy
The FCS’ philanthropic mission is centered on financially supporting a wide range of children’s charities. Since 2000, we’ve have raised more than $2,900,000 for 50+ children’s charities through membership, sponsorship, event attendance, and donations. Many of these charities are personally selected by the senior marketing executives who are the featured guests at our content-driven events. The majority of the donations have been raised through our annual marketing summit FCS Race for Kids, with 100% of the net proceeds being donated to Hope & Heroes Columbia University Medical Center, Make-A-Wish Vermont, and Downey Side Adoption Agency.

Our main charitable fundraising activity is our three-day marketing summit held each January in Stowe, Vermont. The family-friendly event supports Hope & Heroes Columbia University Medical Center, Downey Side Adoption Agency, and Make-A-Wish Foundation of Vermont. Anchored by multiple “Fireside Forum” sessions over three days, where senior financial marketers discuss industry trends for the coming year, the event activities include skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and many other off-slope activities. The FCS welcomes representatives and families from each charity, who share their personal stories onstage during our group dinner, which includes raffles and auctions. -
Hope & Heroes is an independent 501(c)3 non-profit charity dedicated to helping children with cancer and their families. Hope & Heroes exclusively supports the Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation at Columbia University Medical Center, the largest and most comprehensive research and treatment center of its type in the New York Tri-State area. -
Downey Side is an adoption agency focused on getting teens, tweens and sibling groups trapped in the US foster care system into permanent, loving families in New York and New Jersey. Since 1967, we have helped thousands of kids who are typically twice the average age of adoptees, lead better, more fulfilling lives. -
Make-A-Wish Vermont’s mission is to create life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses. They offer children a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have anything they could want, to meet anyone they choose, to go anywhere in the world, or to be whomever they would like! Wishes are a gift that often serves as a transformational change in the lives of all those who are involved.
