Judy Brennan serves as Managing Director of Reputation Management. She has more than 25 years of experience in corporate/financial communications, specializing in brand reputation, reputation risk management, special situations and global long-term positioning for clients across a range of industries. Her work in financial services includes public and private companies and high-profile executives in commercial and investment banking, investment services, mortgage lending, asset management and personal finance. In addition to building compelling profiles for her clients across multiple channels, Judy counsels her clients on how to navigate through challenging situations, including executive leadership changes, proxy campaigns, brand/product crises, litigation, regulatory issues and support for IPOs and other financial transactions. Prior to joining Ogilvy, Judy was Senior Vice President and Director of Ketchum’s Midwest Corporate & Healthcare Practice. During her tenure, she represented several clients in industries under siege, including the nation’s second largest independent mortgage lender during the mortgage loan crisis, one of the original nine TARP banks during the financial crisis, and some of the nation’s top health insurers during healthcare reform. Judy also spent 12 years at Sard Verbinnen & Co., a NY-based special-situations communications firm, where she provided strategic counsel and support on a range of high-profile accounts and handled numerous corporate-transformative assignments as well as long-term corporate reputation management, including media, investor relations and executive thought leadership. Brennan holds a B.A. degree with honors in history from the City University of New York at Hunter College.
