“Journalism, Alternative Facts and the Impact on Brand”

On the evening of Wednesday, August 2nd, the FCS West will stage a summer Cocktails with Content reception on the topic of "Journalism, Alternative Facts and the Impact on Brand."

The event, hosted at Team One's offices on West Jefferson Blvd., will feature an engaging and actionable discussion with marketers and journalists.  Plus there will be delicious food, cocktails and networking with your financial communications peers.

Gabe Kahn, USC professor of Journalism, will lead the discussion with Capital Group VP of Brand Dianne Anderson, Wall Street Journal Finance reporter Emily Glazer, Bloomberg Bureau Chief Chris Palmeri, and Unruly Ad Tech EVP Olly Smith. Together they will dive into the proliferation of fake news, the impact it has had on the financial media landscape and how you can play smart without risking it all.
