“The Intersection of Art + Finance”

Cynthia is a Managing Director of Yieldstreet responsible for its art finance vertical, Athena Art Finance. She has over 25 years of asset-based lending and high-yield corporate credit experience across debt origination, structuring, portfolio management and trading (par and distressed). Previously, Cynthia ran Morgan Stanley’s global proprietary corporate credit platform within its Securitized Products Division, was a Managing Director at Natixis, in the leveraged finance business, and created and ran Bloomberg’s evaluated pricing business, BVAL, in the bond and loan valuation space. She received her MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Elizabeth brings 30 years of experience in the art world to Winston Art Group. Before joining Winston Art Group, she was President of the US operations for another art advisory and appraisal firm where she worked for 18 years. Prior to that, she was Vice President and Director of the Estates and Appraisals department of Habsburg Fine Art Auctioneers, and she started her career as Assistant Vice President in charge of the Appraisal department at Christie’s New York. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University and a Masters of Art from Columbia University. Elizabeth was on the Board of The Appraisers Association of America from 2003-2015; 2014 Chair and Board Member of The Appraisal Foundation; is a Fellow of the Pierpont Morgan Library and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors; a Member of ArtTable; and an Associate Member of the Inland Marine Underwriters Association. She co-wrote a chapter of “Fine Art & High Finance,” published by Bloomberg Press in 2009, wrote a chapter in “Appraising Art: The Definitive Guide to Appraising the Fine and Decorative Arts,” published by the Appraisers Association of America in 2013, and she edited the “Antique Hunters Guides to Pottery and Porcelain, Furniture, and Silver and Pewter” for BlackDog Publications in 2000-2001. She is a qualified expert witness, lectures frequently on Fine and Decorative art and art as an asset class, and in 2015 was included on Private Asset Management’s list of “The 50 Most Influential Women in Wealth Management.”
