The FCS returns once again to the spectacular Wykagyl Country Club on Monday, July 20, for the 27th Annual FCS Charity Golf Tournament & Tennis Day. Bringing together our two groups of sports enthusiasts, we’re looking forward to another great day of camaraderie, friendly competition and fundraising.

Here’s the agenda for a full day of activities at the FCS outing.
- 10:30am REGISTRATION, LUNCH, DRIVING RANGE
- 11:00pm PUTTING CONTEST & DRIVING RANGE CONTEST
- 12:00pm SHOTGUN START FOR THE GOLF SCRAMBLE TOURNEY
- 1:00pm TENNIS CLINIC & ROUND ROBIN TOURNEY
- Tennis and Golf immediately followed by our COCKTAIL and BBQ RECEPTION
- 19th HOLE SHOOT-OUT for qualifying golfers will be held around 5:30pm.
- 6:00pm AWARDS and PRIZES
GOLF:
The day begins with a hearty brunch, the driving range — where there will be an accuracy contest, — and a tantalizing putting contest. There will be additional skill contests during the golf tourney, including Longest Drive (Men / Women), and Closest to the Pin. On the course, you’ll find a hot dog/beer cart — plus additional snacks/beer. We’ll also have our traditional 19th Hole Shoot-Out Contest.
Golfers reserving foursomes are invited to upgrade to a Corporate Sponsorship with our appreciation!
TENNIS:
Tennis players will enjoy three hours of play, including a one-hour clinic led by the Club’s tennis pro. [Note: all whites are NOT required for tennis attire at the Club.] While the tennis “competition” will emphasize fun, there will be prizes.
Fans of the FCS are invited to sponsor all Golf & Tennis contests and give-aways. Details here, custom packages available.
Note: there is a $25 per person fee to be eligible to participate in all of the Contests and Raffles (sports photos donated by Getty Images). The FCS will match the collected Contest Fees 2-to-1, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to our three Race for Kids charities: Make-A-Wish of Vermont & Northeast New York, Hope & Heroes Columbia University Medical Center, and Downey Side Adoption Agency. Thank you for helping our fundraising efforts. (Last year we raised $7,000!)
During a BBQ buffet/cocktail reception, we’ll announce winners and prizes.
