Brand Presence. Brand Preference.
For the 10th consecutive year, the FCS welcomes the return of Living Group for the exclusive preview of its annual Living Ratings of Asset Managers, benchmarking the brand and digital intelligence of the world’s leading asset management firms.
Join us on Thursday, September 17 at 12:00 noon ET for this free virtual event, as Kate Shaw, CEO of Living Group, reveals key findings from the 2026 research — including the much-anticipated rankings of the Top 20 global asset managers.
Following the research presentation, Kate will be joined by a panel of senior asset management marketers, including:
- Tara Giuliano, Chief Marketing Officer, Nuveen, a TIAA company
- Additional panelists to be announced
This year’s research finds that asset managers are strengthening their digital presence, with more structured digital estates, better-organized content, clearer user journeys, and more consistent brand experiences. But presence is only the starting point. As digital experiences become increasingly optimized for search, AI and discoverability, the challenge for marketers is shifting: How do you turn brand presence into brand preference?
Kate will explore how asset managers can move beyond information, functionality and “findability” to create stronger storytelling, clearer meaning and a more distinctive point of view — helping clients understand what a firm stands for, what distinguishes it and why that distinction matters.
The discussion will bring a practitioner’s perspective to the research, discussing how leading asset managers are building distinctive brands, navigating an increasingly complex digital landscape and competing for client preference.
In gratitude to Living, the FCS will donate $1,000 to the children’s charity of their choice. As September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, Living selected Hope & Heroes, whose work supports the leading pediatric cancer centers in the New York Tri-State area, “advancing pioneering research for tomorrow’s cures and comprehensive clinical care for patients today.”

The FCS is pleased to once again partner with Living Group to offer this annual event free to our members and to colleagues throughout the financial marketing community in the U.S. and abroad.
