Phillip Wang

Phil joined Wells Fargo in 2002 to take over a newly created position in the Consumer Credit Group’s Strategic Marketing organization focusing on Diverse Growth Segments. In 2005 he joined Enterprise Marketing’s Brand and Advertising team as the General Market Advertising Manager. He is now one of five Integrated Marketing Campaign Leads responsible for developing large-scale integrated marketing campaigns for Brand, Payments and Platform campaigns. His team also manages executions for Segment related efforts including Diverse Segments, Student, Veterans and LGBT. For the past three years, Phil has led the campaign development for multiple Brand and Reputation efforts. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Phil developed strategies and ad campaigns for a variety of consumer and business-to-business accounts at leading ad agencies. Some of his previous clients included Nestle, AT&T Wireless, Safeway, Jelly Belly Candy Company, Salesforce.com and UBOC. While at McCann-Erickson in the early 90’s, Phil was on the account team for Wells Fargo handling products groups such as In-Store Banking, Business Banking, Mortgage Lending, Commercial Banking, Ethnic Marketing and International Trade Services. Phil is a graduate from Tufts University with a BA in International Relations and spent his early years living abroad in Asia and Europe. A golfer and skier, he is married with two daughters and two dogs that keep him busy on weekends in Danville, CA.
