On September 28th, FCS Chicago teamed up with Dotdash Meredith to present an in-depth discussion on digital innovation in financial services. Frank Dudley of Financial Marketing Institute and Northwestern University presented 2023 research on how successful firms are transitioning to a more dynamic digital marketing organization. Frank also drilled down on Digital Experience Models and Best Practices in CX Capabilities.

To flesh out the findings in the FMI research, Frank moderated a panel that included Jacob Holtgrewe, Global Head of Paid and Social Media, TIAA, Frank Tirado, Head of ETF Marketing, Calamos Investments, and Sumeet Grover, Chief Digital & Marketing Officer, Alliant Credit Union.

In addition to a robust discussion about campaign strategies, media budgets and marketing challenges, the panel also fielded questions from our very engaged audience that ranged from AI to social media influencers.

The event was organized by FCS Chicago chapter president Rachel O’Block of Dotdash Meredith.

As part of the FCS philanthropic mission to support children’s charities, we donated $1,000 to Chicago Scholars in gratitude to our event’s speakers.

FCS Chicago will partner with the Financial Marketing Institute (FMI) for a breakfast event on September 28, when Frank Dudley, FMI President, will present some of his firm’s 2023 research on Digital Marketing in Financial Services. With a focus on how successful firms are transitioning to a more dynamic digital marketing organization, Frank will discuss the capabilities and activations necessary to manage a modern marketing organization and to deliver dynamic customer experiences.

Following the presentation, Frank will moderate a panel of senior marketing leaders, who will share their thoughts and initiatives on how the Marketing function is playing a bigger role in the development and management of more dynamic digital customer experiences.
