“ESG: Passing Fad or the Future of Investing?”

FCS San Francisco's 3rd of 7 planned breakfasts in 2019 will address "ESG: Passing Fad or the Future of Investing?"

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investing has taken the financial world by storm in recent years. Also known as socially responsible investing (SRI) or, more simply, sustainable investing, assets in the category now account for $12 trillion of the roughly $46 trillion in assets under professional management in the United States. But is this “do well by doing good” investment mentality a passing fad, or does it represent a new normal? For this event, we will bring together a panel of experts to answer this question and address the implications it has for professionals in the financial communications industry.

Please also join us for a special presentation of our annual donation to SEO Scholars, the charity supported by FCS West. We’ll also hear from them about their work transforming public high school students into confident college graduates.

Additional panelists to be announced.

  • Start May 14, 2019 07:45 AM PDT
  • End May 14, 2019 09:30 AM PDT
  • Location Omni San Francisco Hotel, 500 California Street at Montgomery Street Francisco
