FCS Charity Golf Tournament & Tennis Day 2026

Recap

On Monday, July 20, the FCS held its 27th Annual Charity Golf Tournament & Tennis Day at the beautiful Wykagyl Country Club in New Rochelle, New York. The event brought together 84 golfers and 20 tennis players on a perfect day for sports, networking and awards!

With a double match on all individual donations, the FCS raised $9,800 for our three Race For Kids charities: Make-A-Wish of Vermont & Northeast New York, Hope & Heroes, and Downey Side Adoption Agency.

The day kicked off with a brunch reception sponsored by The Daily Upside. The shotgun start sent the golfers to the course and the tennis players to the court for friendly competition and camaraderie, culminating in a variety of contests. Rounding out the day was a BBQ dinner reception sponsored by FOX Business.

On Wykagyl’s premier course, the competition was intense. Here are the players who came out on top:

Bringing together our two groups of sports enthusiasts, we’re looking forward to another great day of camaraderie, friendly competition and fundraising.

Here’s the agenda for a full day of activities at the FCS outing.

  • 10:30am  REGISTRATION, DRIVING RANGE, and BRUNCH sponsored by The Daily Upside
  • 11:00pm  PUTTING CONTEST & DRIVING RANGE CONTEST
  • 12:00pm  SHOTGUN START FOR THE GOLF SCRAMBLE TOURNEY
  • 1:00pm  TENNIS CLINIC & ROUND ROBIN TOURNEY
  • Tennis and Golf immediately followed by our COCKTAIL and BBQ RECEPTION, sponsored by FOX Business
  • 19th HOLE SHOOT-OUT for qualifying golfers will be held around 5:30pm.
  • 6:00pm AWARDS and PRIZES

GOLF:

The day begins with a hearty brunch sponsored by The Daily Upside, the driving range, and a tantalizing putting contest sponsored by Yahoo Ads. There will be additional skill contests during the golf tourney, including Longest Drive (Men / Women), and Closest to the Pin. On the course, you’ll find a hot dog/beer cart — plus additional snacks/beer. We’ll also have our traditional 19th Hole Shoot-Out Contest. All golfers will receive a sleeve of golf balls sponsored by Fundamental Media.

TENNIS:

Tennis players will enjoy three hours of play, including a one-hour clinic led by the Club’s tennis pro. [Note: all whites are NOT required for tennis attire at the Club.] While the tennis “competition” will emphasize fun, there will be prizes.

Fans of the FCS are invited to sponsor all Golf & Tennis contests and give-aways. Details here, custom packages available.

Note: there is a $25 per person fee to be eligible to participate in all of the Contests and Raffles (sports photos donated by Getty Images). The FCS will match the collected Contest Fees 2-to-1, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to our three Race for Kids charities: Make-A-Wish of Vermont & Northeast New York, Hope & Heroes Columbia University Medical Center, and Downey Side Adoption Agency. Thank you for helping our fundraising efforts. (Last year we raised $7,000!)
