The next FCS New York Cocktails with Content event will be hosted at Google’s Pier 57 offices on Wednesday, November 18, from 4:30–6:30pm, when we get together for an expert conversation on how established financial brands can build trust and relevance through creators and more human storytelling.
For corporate financial marketers, the challenge is familiar: making complex businesses approachable, helping executives communicate beyond prepared talking points, and developing content that connects with audiences while meeting corporate standards. Working with creators introduces a different perspective on how brands can earn attention and credibility.
Our featured guest speaker, Jacklyn Dallas, is a YouTuber and Creator of The Next Big Thing, an online show that helps millions of people understand technology breakthroughs. Having interviewed industry leaders including Tim Cook, Mark Zuckerberg and Sundar Pichai, Jacklyn brings firsthand experience uncovering the human perspectives behind some of the world’s most influential companies.
- Here is Jacklyn interviewing Mark Zuckerberg last month.
Leading the conversation will be Robyn Shapiro, Creator Lead at Google | YouTube, who advises clients across Finance, Healthcare, Travel and Telecom on creator strategies that support engagement, brand affinity and measurable business results.
Together, Jacklyn and Robyn will explore:
- The human story behind the brand. Helping senior executives share experiences and perspectives that make their expertise relatable and give audiences a stronger connection to the organization.
- The choices that shape credibility. Examining what signals trust on YouTube, how production and messaging affect audience perceptions, and how brands can give creators room to use their own voice.
- Human connection in an AI-driven media landscape. Exploring why personal storytelling and trusted creators may become increasingly valuable as AI-generated content proliferates.
Join fellow financial marketing and communications professionals for fresh thinking on executive storytelling, creator partnerships and brand trust, along with cocktails and networking at Google.
In gratitude for this special opportunity to partner with the Google team, the FCS will donate $1,000 to a children’s charity.
