SPEAKER BIO Bill Webster is managing director of brand management, public affairs and marketing operations at AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company, the primary U.S. life insurance subsidiary of the global AXA Group. Building on the rebranding that occurred in 2014, Mr. Webster leads the effort to expand AXA’s brand influence in the United States. Mr. Webster leads brand strategy, advertising, customer segmentation, and marketing communications. He oversees all aspects of the AXA US corporate communications strategy and platform, including employee engagement, media relations, public affairs, corporate responsibility, and leadership communications. As head of Marketing Operations, he has responsibility for the company’s in-house agency for editorial content, graphic design, collateral fulfillment, and event planning, which includes the studio and auditorium at the AXA Center, a prime theater venue and multimedia broadcasting facility located in midtown Manhattan. Mr. Webster also serves as Chairman of the Board of the AXA Foundation. With more than 20 years of experience at companies such as Liberty Mutual, Sun Life Financial, MetLife, and McCann-Erikson, Mr. Webster has expertise in consumer and business to business advertising, response driven retail promotions, and the creation of effective models for cross-discipline marketing operations.
