“Marketing to the Millennials: Myths & Realities”

FCS West extends its frontier to Denver with a first-time event focused on Marketing to the Millennial generation.  This "Cocktails with Content" reception will be hosted at Janus Henderson and feature of panel of marketing executives from leading financial companies and agencies.

Why do we keep talking about Millennials? According to recent Pew research, Millennials are now the largest living generation, so we all have a vested interest in targeting these 20 to 35 year old consumers.  But do we really need to treat them differently than any other audience segment? Are Millennials really so different than their Boomer and X’er counterparts before them… or the Gen Z behind them?

While technology and personal values receive a lot of attention as generational differentiators, we need to continue to explore Millennials' relationship with Money — how they approach investing, saving, and credit.  What do they want and expect from their financial services providers?  What can secure their brand loyalty?  Will the answers be found in emerging areas like product innovation, mobility and AI, or in legacy challenges like pricing, personal relationships and a physical presence?
