Fireside Chat: MetLife’s Koley Corte and Anna Papadopoulos


Two MetLife marketing executives sat for a literal fireside chat at the New York Yacht Club on October 18th. Koley Corte, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Corporate and Institutional, and Anna Papadopoulos, Vice President, Brand, Events & Sponsorships, interviewed each other before a rapt audience of financial marketing, communications and media professionals from the FCS Community. The theme of the conversation was “Leading through Transformation.”

Both women discussed joining MetLife after achieving so much in their careers at other financial and non-financial brands. They touched on mistakes and opportunities, lessons learned, and the best advice they’ve ever received as they spoke candidly to the audience about what it takes to succeed in any organization.

In gratitude to Koley and Anna, the FCS will make a $1,000 donation to Girls Who Code, an organization “on a mission to close the gender gap in technology and to change the image of what a programmer looks like and does” by building the world’s largest pipeline of future female engineers.

  • Doors open at 12:00 noon for Registration and Networking.
  • At 12:15, guests will be invited to take their seats. Plated entrees will be served.
  • Welcome remarks by FCS CEO Kevin Windorf.
  • At 12:45, the fireside chat will begin, followed by audience Q&A.
  • At the conclusion (1:15-1:20), guests will be invited to the South End of the Model Room for coffee, dessert and Networking.
