A great advantage of the CMO Spotlight events staged by the FCS is that the audience not only gets to learn valuable, actionable insights from the industry’s leading marketing executives, but we get to know them as people. Such was the case when TIAA‘s Chief Marketing and Communications Officer Micky Onvural stepped to the microphone at our Cocktails with Content event, held on May 16th at the New York Yacht Club.
The sold-out audience enjoyed learning about the latest marketing campaigns from TIAA and the strategy behind its current positioning. Yet coming to understand the world class marketer leading those efforts gave the crowd an unparalleled view into how Micky successfully transitioned her career into financial services (she was most recently CMO then CEO at Bonobos).

FCS New York is proud to continue our Cocktails with Content series with a reception at the New York Yacht Club featuring Micky Onvural, Chief Marketing & Communications Officer of TIAA. Our event on Tuesday, May 16, will be Micky’s inaugural appearance on the FCS stage, and we’re delighted to welcome her. The FCS has enjoyed a beneficial relationship with TIAA, as well as with Nuveen, for many years, and we look to continue it under Micky’s leadership. We’re grateful to TIAA for its exclusive programming partnership of this reception.
In gratitude to Micky personally, we’ll make a $1,000 donation to the children’s charity of her choice.
Our event will run from 4:00pm until 6:00pm, with the program lasting about 45 minutes. There will be plenty of time to network with your colleagues from the FCS Community.
