The FCS Members Only Virtual Event Series (MOVES) will spotlight a conversation with Lisa Caputo, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing, Communications and Customer Experience Officer at Travelers. Lisa oversees the company’s marketing, research, communications and brand management strategies and operations. Join us on Monday, February 12 for a revealing conversation about one of the most accomplished marketing leaders in our industry. Here are just a few highlights of Lisa’s background:
- Prior to joining Travelers in 2011, Lisa worked at Citi where she was the firm’s first global corporate Chief Marketing Officer (2005-2010). She also founded Citi’s leading women’s financial services business, Women & Co., and served as its Chairman and CEO from 2000-2010. Lisa was responsible for negotiating Citi’s naming rights and business partnership with the New York Mets and directed the branding of the CitiField stadium.
- Prior to Citi, Lisa was Vice President of Global Communications and Synergy for Disney Publishing Worldwide, and before that, Vice President of Corporate Communications for the CBS Corporation.
- Before her career in business, Lisa spent over a decade in the public sector. She served as Deputy Assistant to President Bill Clinton and Press Secretary to First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton at the White House during (1993-1996), where she oversaw the communications operations for the First Lady and First Family and served as chief spokesperson. She held the same job through the 1992 Clinton-Gore campaign and the presidential transition.
In gratitude to Lisa for speaking to the FCS membership, the FCS will donate $1,000 to the children’s charity of her choice.
