The Financial Communications Society (FCS) is thrilled to announce the inductees to the 2024 Class of the FCS Portfolio Hall of Fame, a prestigious recognition created in 2019 to honor deserving and lasting work among previous winners of our esteemed Portfolio Awards competition. State Street Global Advisors’ “Fearless Girl”, E*TRADE’s “Time Out Solitary” and OppenheimerFunds’ “Invest in a Beautiful World” were selected from a pool of 10 past Portfolio winners representing leading financial brands. Through a national survey, our Awards committee and industry professionals have determined the deserving recipients of this accolade.
The Hall of Fame serves as a testament to the impact of financial marketing and communications campaigns. It celebrates the creativity and innovation of campaigns that have left a lasting impression on the industry. The inaugural class of the FCS Hall of Fame included the iconic “Priceless” campaign from Mastercard and Charles Schwab’s “Talk To Chuck.” These campaigns set a high standard of excellence in financial communications and have since become benchmarks for success in the industry.
“It is an incredible honor for State Street’s Fearless Girl campaign to join the other inspiring, iconic, and memorable campaigns in the FCS Portfolio Awards Hall of Fame,” said State Street Global Advisors‘ Chief Marketing Officer John Brockelman.
“We are delighted that the iconic E*TRADE Baby is being welcomed into the FCS Hall of Fame,” said Andrea Zaretsky, Chief Marketing Officer at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. “The E*TRADE brand has a long and celebrated history of connecting with consumers in irreverent and memorable ways that incite sound investing behavior, and now as part of the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management ecosystem, we look forward to the many more stories to be told.”
Marty Willis, former Chief Product & Marketing Officer of OppenheimerFunds, added: “The Oppenheimer logo of four hands is representative of the many hands it took to create the brand campaign Invest in a Beautiful World. I am honored to accept this award on behalf of the OppenheimerFunds marketing team and delighted that the OppenheimerFunds brand will live on in the FCS Portfolio Hall of Fame.”
The winners of the 2024 FCS Hall of Fame will be honored at this year’s FCS Portfolio Awards Gala, to be held on Thursday, May 2, at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City. The black-tie event promises to be an evening of celebration, networking and recognition, bringing together industry professionals to honor the best in financial marketing and communications.
“On behalf of the FCS Board of Directors and our community at large, I salute the three brands whose brilliant campaigns have today entered our Hall of Fame,” Kevin Windorf, CEO of the Financial Communications Society. “Their impact speaks to the caliber of the creative excellence we honor every year with the FCS Portfolio Awards competition.”
