FCS Mentoring Program Applications Now Open

The FCS is proud to announce the opening of our Members-Only Mentoring program for 2020-2021.

Our program matches mentees and mentors based on their career goals and mentor experience and interests.  Applications for both roles are open now and will close on November 2nd (no exceptions!).  Mentoring will begin in November with a virtual get-together for all participants.

Our Mentoring program is chaired by FCS Board Directors Karen List and Paul Leibowitz.  Karen commented, “Last year we launched our inaugural program to great success. The feedback we received from both mentees and mentors encouraged us to continue the program as an important perk of FCS membership.”

Mentors of all levels are encouraged to get involved. Paul said, “My own experience as a mentor in the first year proved that the program can really have positive impact on both mentees and mentors.”

The FCS Mentoring program is a unique opportunity to be mentored by a more senior executive in marketing, media and communications.  The focus is on honing industry knowledge as well as skills in project management, negotiating, etc. The time commitment for the program is only one hour per month, starting in November and ending next June.

The size of the program will be based on the number of qualified applicants and pairing compatibility, taking into account each member's career aspirations and development goals.
