San Francisco Launches Multi-Part Breakfast Series on Content

FCS San Francisco staged Part One of the Content Breakfast Seriess on April 27th at the Omni Hotel, covering "Creation / Distribution / Engagement." A panel of senior marketers were invited to discuss the generative process of creating compelling and relevant custom content and smart strategies for distribution and promotion.
Our panelists included:
  • Phillip Wang, SVP, Integrated Marketing, Wells Fargo
  • Will McKenna,Senior Creative Manager, American Funds
  • Michael Bohn, Head of Business Strategy, Yahoo
  • Adam Kleinberg, CEO, Traction
Our moderator was Kenton Williston, Director of Content for Integrated Marketing Partners.
The “mainstreaming” of sponsored content, once seen as an alternative to traditional marketing techniques, has made it more difficult than ever for financial players to stand out from the crowd.  Some of the topics covered by our panel included:
  • Industry best practices
  • How to determine the role of content in your organization
  • What constitutes success
  • Application of audience insights in the generative process
  • The changing roles of social and mobile
  • How to differentiate your brand

Our thanks to these companies for sponsoring the 2017 slate of events produced by FCS San Francisco:

  • Bloomberg Media
  • Forbes
  • Reuters
  • Seeking Alpha
  • Yahoo
