Just days after Portfolio 2017, we welcomed members of the marketing/creative team from UBS Wealth Management and their client-partner to our May 10th luncheon the New York Yacht Club. This was the second year in a row in which the FCS staged our May lunch as a forum to hear from Portfolio winners.
At the 23rd Annual FCS Portfolio Awards Gala, UBS swept the Consumer Retail Collateral category, won a Bronze for Consumer Retail Direct Mail, and its Gold-winning Email campaign also took home Best in Show Digital Media.
The luncheon discussion / presentation delve into the internal workings of how Marketing can partner with a Business Line to develop and execute smart, creative and effective campaigns specifically targeting the advisor space.
The UBS panelists included:
- Neil Gallagher, Head of Advisor Marketing and Creative Solutions
- Julie Vander Veen, head of Corporate Services for the UBS Equity Plan Advisory Services group
- Cheryl Brama Berman, Director and Senior Writer
The team discussed how audiences want their content "simple — just highlights" but there should also be easy access to in-depth information. The UBS team attested to the fact that their infographics proved to be their most downloaded content.
