Aditi Javeri Gokhale is chief marketing officer and executive officer at Northwestern Mutual, the largest US provider of life insurance and manager of more than $265 billion in assets. She is overseeing a client transformation to help people achieve financial security. Through data-driven creative and a high-impact marketing strategy, she aims to differentiate the Northwestern Mutual brand and its products in the marketplace, while deepening client engagement. She joined Northwestern Mutual in April 2016, as chief marketing officer of LearnVest, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Northwestern Mutual, while also responsible for Northwestern Mutual’s consumer digital marketing. Prior to joining Northwestern Mutual, Gokhale served as the chief marketing officer for Shutterstock, a leading provider of digital imagery licensing. She also served in several senior marketing leadership roles at leading brands, including Nutrisystem; Travelocity; and American Express. A passionate advocate for challenging the status quo, Aditi is a member of the Marketing 50 and The Wall Street Journal CMO Council. She was recently recognized by Forbes as one of the “top 50 CMOs who are redefining the top marketing role and driving its evolution.” She is a sought-after speaker and is frequently quoted as a marketing trendsetter in publications such as Adweek, Digiday, Forbes and The Wall Street Journal. Aditi received her MBA in management from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She also received her Bachelor of Science degree from MIT, majoring in management science and minoring in economics. Aditi lives in New York with her husband Sameer and their son.
