David Partain is the Global CMO for FlexShares — the Northern Trust ETF Group and has over 30 years of industry experience. Prior to Northern Trust, he held numerous marketing positions including at Van Kampen Funds and First Trust Portfolios. He is a three time entrepreneur and has worked in a sales or marketing leadership role in a diverse set of industries including TV, HR consulting and oil & gas. David started in the industry as a fixed income portfolio trader. He is a graduate of Wheaton College, the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, and Liberty University.
