Dawn Kruger, CEO has been at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area for 12 years. Prior to her current position as CEO, she was the Vice President of Operations, where she was charged with overseeing all program functions throughout the five-county service region as well as providing operations leadership for facilities, finance, and human resources. While she has over 22 years of professional experience, her passion for social justice began as an American expatriate child growing up in Asia where she witnessed the results of corruption and extreme poverty.  Dawn’s educational background includes a bachelor of arts in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego followed by a masters in International Relations from Stanford University. Dawn also speaks fluent Spanish.
