The Financial Communications Society is pleased to announce new leadership for FCS Boston, with Casey Fuller named Chapter President and Rebecca Schmidt named Chapter Vice President.
Casey is Senior Director, Brand Partnerships — Finance at People Inc., formerly Dotdash Meredith, where she works with financial services partners across the company’s portfolio of media brands. Casey brings a strong background in media, brand partnerships, and financial marketing to her FCS leadership role.
Rebecca (“Becks”) is Vice President and Boston Office Lead at Water & Wall, a B2B communications agency with a focus on financial and professional services. A participating mentor with the FCS Mentoring Program, Rebecca has led Water & Wall’s role as Comms Agency of Record for the FCS Portfolio Awards since 2024.
Their first planned event as our Boston chapter leaders is “Nailing the Narrative in the Age of AI,” a Cocktails with Content reception to be hosted by Prosek on Wednesday, May 27. Featuring senior marketers from BNY Investments, Flywire and Bloomberg, the panel will explore how fintech and financial services marketers are using narrative to build clarity, credibility, and differentiation as AI reshapes content creation and audience engagement.
“FCS has been committed to the Boston market since 2010, and I’m excited to help build on that foundation with consistent, high-quality programming for the financial marketing community,” said Casey. “We’ll also be focusing the philanthropic mission of the FCS on Boston-based children’s charities.”
Rebecca added, “Our goal is to continue FCS Boston’s heritage as the go-to forum for connection, insight, and professional growth for local marketing, comms and media professionals, with at least four events each year. Plus we want to drive higher local representation at the annual FCS Race for Kids Marketing Summit in Stowe, Vermont, each January.”
If you are interested in helping shape the future of FCS Boston, you’re invited to contact Casey and Rebecca to learn more about joining the chapter’s steering committee.
