Winners Celebrated at 27th Annual FCS Portfolio Gala — Live and In-Person

  • “America The Beautiful” wins top prize for Citi and sets record with 3 Best in Show awards among 26 total trophies for the company

  • Morgan Stanley dominates with 33 trophies, including brand new Employee Communications Best in Show award

  • Bank of America scores 25 awards, including 9 Gold trophies

NEW YORK (September 24, 2021) – Last night, more than 200 (vaccinated!) financial marketing professionals from over 60 companies gathered at the Ziegfeld Ballroom for the 27th Annual Financial Communications Society (FCS) Portfolio Awards. The black tie gala drew attendees excited to convene in-person to celebrate 2020’s most creative financial marketing and communications efforts.

The top prize, the Judges’ Choice Award, was won by Citi's “America The Beautiful” television spot (agency: Publicis New York / Publicis Latvia).  The work was selected by consensus from among the judging panel of 42 industry experts who each nominated their favorite from among nearly 500 entries. Different iterations of the work also won a record 3 Best in Show awards.

Citi scooped up the lion’s share of top prizes (Judges’ Choice, 4 Best in Show, 10 Golds, plus 11 Silver and Bronze trophies). However, it was Morgan Stanley, including E*TRADE and Eaton Vance, who led the night with a record-setting 33 awards, including its Best in Show award and 10 Gold trophies. Other big winners were Bank of America (25 trophies, 10 Golds), Prudential / PGIM (14 trophies, 3 Golds) and Barclays (10 trophies, 3 Golds).

Another 34 firms were winners of multiple trophies, while 38 others received one each.
